HERMES PARIS silk “Grand carrosse pour un ambassadeur” scarf. The scarf captures the essence of a magnificent carriage meant for an ambassador. Meticulously detailed, it portrays the opulence of a bygone diplomatic era, the carriage being adorned with intricate motifs that reflect the elegance of its period. The scarf is in muted tones of gold, red and three various faint greens. Drawn by Lise Coutin, first edition in 1961, re-issued in 2007. First edition.
