The scarf features multiple scenes of daily life through "les Boulevards" of Paris and "the River" of London in the late 1800s. The central plaque mimicks ornate ironwork and gilding found in both cities. Drawn by Phillippe Ledoux, first edition in 1966, never re-issued.
