This beautiful piece was made in the early 1900s in Europe showcasing an amazing level of craftmanship. It features a bezel set hand-cut shell cameo depicting a young woman in profile and measures approx. 1 1/2" long x 1 1/8" wide. The brooch also has a bale so that it doubles as a pendant! Very good vintage condition with some patina according to age which can easily be polished away. The piece weighs ca. 6 grams and is marked "800" for a common European silver standard of 80% silver along with an unidentified designer / maker mark. Great piece!
