Description
A early 20th century Louis XVI style brass bouillotte lamp in green toleware and gilt bronze, with a circular stem supporting three scrolled foliate and swan candle arms raised on a engine turned circular dish base. The lamp fitted with a dark green gilt decorated tole shade with arrow form adjustment screw and laurel wreath finial. Height 26" Provenance: Mr. William C. Robinson Jr was master of foxhounds at the Sewickley Hunt Club and also was owner of the horse farms: "Far Away Farm" Sewickley PA and "Lanes End" in Versailles Kentucky. His wife Mary Laughlin Robinson was also an accomplished equestrian.
