Description
Very fine pair of cranberry white overlay Moser Bohemian hand painted mantle lusters, circa 1880. This beautiful pair with portrait and floral alternating medallions with fine cut crystal prism drops. Height 11" Provenance: Mr. William C. Robinson Jr was master of foxhounds at the Sewickley Hunt Club and also was owner of the horse farms: "Far Away Farm" Sewickley PA and "Lanes End" in Versailles Kentucky. His wife Mary Laughlin Robinson was also an accomplished equestrian.
Condition
The lustres are in fine condition with minor wear to gilding of cranberry glass shaft. One prism is broken towards bottom and is missing spear tip-see third photo.
