Description
Pair of Chinese export rose medallion armorial dishes, dating from the 19th century. Extremely decorative with gilt rose medallion in the composition. Each plate featuring a scene with ladies and bearded men in a court like setting. Armorial mark on the cheek of each plate, showed armorial symbol of helmet and "B" indicated "Burton" family.
