This is an Antique 1895 ( Sterling in Name Only ) Sterling Yacht Club Steamboat Race Winner Trophy...It measures 12 inches tall and is adorned with an early Steamboat engraving in front of a Town on Shore and states " Sterling Yacht Club Watson J. Miller Trophy " above the Steamboat engraving and on the other side " Won by the Steamer Theo July 30th 1895 "...Wear to the silveplate finish as can be seen. Marked on the bottom Derby Silver Co. A very unusual maritime race trophy.
