A group of Chinese brown glazed porcelain vessels
20th century
One cup marked to the underside in blue underglaze bearing a reign mark for Wanli Period (1573-1620) of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644); one marked bearing an apocryphal reign mark for Jaijing Period (1522-1566); one marked bearing an apocryphal reign mark for Tianqi Period (1621-1627)
Three porcelain vessels ach with an all-over coppery brown glaze comprising a stick neck vase, a zhadou (leys jar) and a footed cup, 3 pieces
Largest: 9.75" H x 5.25" Dia.; smallest: 4" H x 3.75" Dia.
Condition
Each overall good condition with shelf wear, scattered minor scuffs, scratches, and inherent firing flaws commensurate with age. The footed cup with a chip to the glaze along the rim and a hairline crack radiating from aforementioned chip, approximately 2.25" in length. Crazing to the glaze layer for each. No evidence of repairs or restorations under blacklight for each. Each with kiln flaws to the underside of the foot.
