These wonderful scrolls appear to be from the 1940s or earlier. Each piece is hand painted on paper in the form of a fan and attached to a what appears to be paper and silk back. Each is traditional Japanese erotic art. They are rolled together as one big roll and comes with the original box. Each is approx. 12.5" x 117".?These pieces were in a Japanese decor shop in Little Tokyo near downtown Los Angeles. The shop closed in the early 1970s and all the stock was placed in storage until now.
