Paul Jones Navajo 3mm-8.5mm Turquoise, Sterling Silver and Black Leather Petit Point Belt - This vintage Native American piece is comprised of sterling silver and black leather, and is decorated in the petit point style with 3mm-8.5mm turquoise stones. The belt buckle bears the hallmark of Navajo silversmith Paul Jones. The belt currently does not have holes and the buyer can choose the size they wish. Measurements: 50" end to end length. This piece comes from a collection which has been housed in a vault for over 40 years. According to our seller, her parents started in the Native American jewelry business in 1972, and the family would travel to the New Mexico Native American reservations and purchase pieces directly from the tribes. They eventually went into the gold jewelry business and have kept these pieces in their private collection for over 40 years.
