Description
The empire tractor was built in Philadelphia, PA between 1946-1948. This tractor was built in 1948 shortly before the company seized operations. Of the 6,663 tractor built, 5,370 were exported to various overseas countries. According to the Empire Tractor Club, only 380 tractors are only known to exist. The tractor was built largely of surplus Army parts, including a CJ-2A L-head motor, a Willies rear drive differential and a T-90 Gear Box from Warner. This tractor was purchased in 2006 in Long Sault, Ontario, Canada. All parts are either original to the tractor or NOS parts available from the Empire Tractor Club. In 2020, this tractor was repainted and the carburetor and fuel pump were replaced. That was the last time this tractor has been run. It is gas powered and will need a battery.
