Description
This was one of the first type of gas pumps used. It was typically found at the curbside in front of a hardware or general store. It is a Bowser No. 402, made around 1905. A totalizer permitted easy determination of the total cost of the sale including tax based upon the unit price and the number of gallons pumped. The pump was professionally restored and stands 66" tall. The gauge is marked Calco Manufacturing Co.
