Description
A bronze animalier statue by Herbert Haseltine (French American, 1877-1962). A posthumous bronze casting with black patina, produced circa 1967. Titled, "Shorthorn Bull: Bridgebank Paymaster." The original produced circa 1933. A wildlife work depicting a cattle bull. Impressed title to front side of base SHORTHORN, with impressed signature and dated to base back in Roman numerals HASELTINE MCMXXX-III. Presented on a rectangular marble base.
Dimensions: 10 X 14 X 5 in.
Condition: Good overall condition having mild surface wear and small loss to bottom edge of base. Estate fresh to the market.
