A fine and rare carved wooden heddle pulley from a weaving loom featuring a well carved anthropomorphic head with traditional scarifications, incised linear designs and a deep well handled surface, with much evidence of field use over many years. The Pulley measures 7 x 3.5 inches and has been custom mounted to a display stand. 8 inches tall on base. Provenance: Dr Noble and Jean Endicott Collection, New York, Ex Private New Jersey Collection.
