MARIE LESHER (American/Texas 1919-2005) A SCULPTURE, "Intertwined Female Forms," 20TH CENTURY, bronze relief with green patina on front, signed and numbered at lower right, "MLesher 1/7," raised on a semi-circular natural wood stand. Height: 31" Width: 10 1/2" Depth: 5 1/4" Provenance: Collection of St. Agnes Academy, Houston, Texas.
Condition
There are rubbing and handling marks on the bronze patina. Also, the stand is cracked where the screws holding the piece in are and it is unstable and needs repair to stand upright correctly. There is a place on the back at top for it to be anchored to a wall (part of the piece).
