A WILLIAM AND MARY OAK BOBBIN TURNED GATE LEG DINING TABLE, ENGLISH, EARLY/MID 18TH CENTURY, the rectangular plank top with iron support straps at ends has "D" shaped leaves opening with hand wrought iron hinges over a gate leg with lower, central hand-carved wood hinge, raised on vasiform turned legs joined by an elaborate bobbin turned box stretcher; height: 29", closed width: 25", depth: 60, open width: 84". Provenance: Collection of Pat L. Harris, Houston, Texas.
