Description

(2) Rare Golden Age radios: an RCA Victor Model T56 broadcast receiver with Art Deco cabinet, c. 1940; and an Atwater Kent Model 944 cathedral-type broadcast receiver, c. 1934. Provenance: Property from Scott Shannon, a renowned radio DJ and founding member of the WHTZ (Z100) radio station. Dimensions: (Atwater Kent) H 14.25" x W 12" x D 8" Condition: Not tested. RCA Victor radio with losses to knobs, a few chips to veneer, water soiling and crazing to wood varnish throughout. Both cases showing nicks, dings an finish rubs to wood.
