Description
AMERICAN LATE WINDSOR PAINTED ROCKING CHAIR, featuring double crest rails over six spindles, plank bottom seat, shaped arms with applied rocker. Retains old hand-written note to underside of seat referring to Centre Co., Pennsylvania and an early blue-painted surface. Circa 1825. 39" HOA, 16 1/2" x 17 1/2" seat.
