Description
MID-ATLANTIC PAINTED BAMBOO-TURNED ARMCHAIR, the back with a rail of seven vertical short spindles above two full-length horizontal spindles, the bent arms flanking the upholstered seat, the whole raised on turned legs joined with a box stretcher. Retains its original black-painted surface with striping. Circa 1830. 32" HOA, 17 1/2" H seat.

Condition
Very good condition, crack to the applied strip behind the seat which is not structural, visible paint loss, primarily to one leg, some dirt to seat.
