MOSES CHAPMAN (AMERICAN, 1783-1821) CUT-AND-PASTED SILHOUETTE OF A MOTHER AND CHILD, subjects seated in a Classical-style side chair, the child in the mother's lap, signed "M. Chapman" lower right and inscribed "Henrietta Albertson and daughter Sarah aged 2 yrs." at lower edge. Housed under glass in a period veneered frame. Probably Massachusetts. Circa 1820. 10 1/8" x 6 1/8" sight, 13 1/2" x 9 1/2" OA.

Condition
Very good overall condition with moderate even toning. Frame with minor wear. Not examined out of frame.
