NATIVE AMERICAN HAUDENOSAUNEE (IROQUOIS) BEADWORK BOX, square form with lift-off cover, red-felt ground over a wallpapered pasteboard foundation, with fine polychrome beaded decoration added to each side and cover, interior lined with a green sateen cloth. Probably Tuscarora. Mid 19th century. 4 3/4" H, 7 1/4" x 6 1/2".

Condition
Very good overall condition with expected areas of bead loss, primarily on top and corners.
