NATIVE AMERICAN PLATEAU (SPOKANE) PICTORIAL BEADED BAG, rectangular form with prancing horse flanked by large flowers, calfskin handles. Conservation framed under glass in a carved wood folk art shadowbox frame. Note attached to back of frame "Bought by Maude B. Lang in Spokane - 1918 - Made by Spokane Indians." First quarter 20th century. 9" x 8" bag, 17 1/2" x 13 1/2" OA.

The important collection of H. Marshall Goodman Jr., Richmond, VA.
Condition
Very good visual condition with some fraying to fabric edges, bag's back not examined.
