Description
A well-detailed elaborate antique porcelain figurine of Meissen Porcelain Factory. The grouping depicts a drunken Bacchus riding a donkey, the young man supporting him and the young woman decorating the donkey with bunches of grapes. A playful putti plays with a donkeys tail from behind. Neatly hand-painted and accented with gilding. After the design of Ernst August Leuteritz, German, 1818 to 1993. Marked with a blue ink crossed swords mark and features incised numbers 2724, 186, to the bottom. Circa the late 19th century.
