The shaped and etched glass top on scrolling steel supports, together with a set of eight matching chairs, comprising two armchairs, two high backed chairs and four side chairs, most with copper and steel backs with stained glass section raised on steel supports, The table 239cm wide x 97cm deep x 79cm high, (94in wide x 38in deep x 31in high), armchairs 80cm wide x 66cm deep x 180cm high, (31in wide x 25 1/2in deep x 70 1/2in high), the hand chairs 61cm wide x 64cm deep x 139cm high, (24in wide x 25in deep x 54 1/2in high) (9)

Jim Whitson studied three-dimensional design at Cumbria college of Art and Design for two years which was followed by nine years of practical experience in blacksmithing and sheet metalwork.
