LARGE FRENCH BISQUE INCISED BEBE BY JUMEAU. 30”. Marks: Depose Jumeau 14. Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, closed mouth, defined space between shaded and outlined lips, separately-modeled pierced ears, light brown human hair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, French style frock and bonnet, leather shoes. Commentary: Rare model made for one two years only, circa 1884; beautiful bebe with fine quality bisque and facial painting, good original body and body finish.
