Item/Description: Early image of an Indian War soldier, standing in uniform. Magnetic. Behind glass. Embossed gold-tone metal frame set in a union case with velvet cushion. (Quarter Plate, Memorial, Post-Mortem, Daguerreotype, Ambrotype, Albumen Print, Thermoplastic, Gutta-Percha Case, Union, Confederate)

Material: Mixed

Dimensions: Image size: Height: 2 3/4"; Width: 2 1/8". Framed: Height: 3 3/4"; Width: 3 1/4"

Condition: Scratching, loss, fading, discoloration. Metal is showing thru on parts with loss. Case is separated, shows wear, fading and other imperfections. Velvet cushion is faded, worn and had a sticker adhered.
