1946 Pontiac chrome hood ornament. 1946 was the first year of Pontiac production after World War II and this striking hood ornament graced the 6 series 26 and 8 series 28 hoods that year. This is a clean ornament with some minor marks on the red plastic top feather and some minor chipping of the red enamel on the corners. The chrome is bright with only minor marks. Worth noting is that the zig zag lines on one side of the head dress have been filled in with black paint. Part number is 508615. See photos for best description.
