Description
Comprising a hollow-cut silhouette or scherenschnitte of a young girl, with foliate border, the arch with heart surmounting monogram, "EAD", framed; a small Fraktur bookplate for a bible belonging to Isaac Gross, with purchase date of "1830 25th December," ink on paper, framed; a miniature needlework sampler of the alphabet, by "Martha Pearman III," cotton threads on cotton ground, framed; a miniature embroidery of a floral urn, silk threads on cotton ground, mounted and framed; two Chinese Export porcelain cups and one saucer depicting a seamstress, circa 1740-1760; a silver filigree thread holder and wrist bracelet, English, early 19th century; a silver filigree spoon, monogrammed "M"; a silver shield-form chatelaine hook, engraved with monogram, "TI," a silver heart-shaped pendant, engraved with monogram, "AMD," sewn on to Irish-stitched needlework sample; and a mother-of-pearl counter, engraved with monogram, "LGW."
