Note: This easy chair was made by Frank Auspitz of York, Pennsylvania, who restored several pieces of furniture for Henry Francis du Pont that are now held in the permanent collection of the Winterthur Museum. The upholstery of the present lot was also completed by the same esteemed interior design firm used by du Pont for upholstery and curtains at Winterthur, Ernest S. Lo Nano of New York.
