Utagawa Kuniyoshi "The Night Attack" Meiji Reproduction

Antique copy, most likely from the Meiji period of The Night Attack, number 11 in his series depicting ChÅ«shingura, known in English as The 47 RÅnin. The original piece was published in 1835, and shows the rÅnin as the begin their attack on the home of Kira Yoshinaka to avenge their master.

The piece is in good ocndition, with some tears near the corers. The corners were glued down to a black piece of paper at some point in the past.
