Marshall Maynard Fredericks (American, 1908-1998) Bronze Wall Sculpture, 1953-54, Childhood Friends, H 14" W 15" | Incised with signature and date on the edge of the sculpture. Bronze relief of two children seated against a friendly bear next to a moose. The subject was created for Jefferson Memorial Elementary School in Wyandotte, Michigan. The relief depicts two of Marshall Fredericks children with a bear and moose. It was featured on the cover of American Artist magazine in 1954. Provenance: Property from a Private Collection, Birmingham, Michigan
