ALEXANDER I OF YUGOSLAVIA: (1888-1934) King of Yugoslavia 1929-34. Also known as Alexander the Unifier. He previously served as King of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes 1921-29. D.S., `Alexander´, one page, large folio, Belgrade, 1st October 1921, to Tihomir V. Zmajic, in Serb. The partially printed document bears to the heading the imperial printed coat of arms, entitled beneath ''Alexander I - King of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes'', and is the appointment of Tihomir V. Zmajic as infantry second Lieutenant. Countersigned by Mil Jeremic, Naval and defence Minister. The document bears alongside the king´s signature an imperial blind embossed seal. With blank integral leaf. Folded, with small overall staining. G
