DESCRIPTION: 18 celadon jade hair decorations in 1920s velvet lined and divided jewelry case. Designs includes fu bat, flowers, and vines. Qing dynasty was a Manchu-led imperial dynasty and the last imperial dynasty in China. PROVENANCE: George Henne November 1866 - June 2, 1938. By inheritance to J. Fuller, Pennsylvania. Jade and related Chinese antiques imported by George Henne, Sole Proprietor, 311 East 23rd Street, New York, NY approximately from 1900 to 1935. Some use in lockets and boxes for small valuables. MEASUREMENTS: Hair decorations 2-1/4" to 3-1/4" long. Jewelry case 8-5/8" wide x 6-3/4" deep x 3/4" high. CONDITION: No condition issues with jade. Jewelry case has loss to top.
