DESCRIPTION: A very fine Mennonite grain decorated jelly cupboard circa 1850-1900 from Lancaster County Pennsylvania. Of typical form consisting of an upright rectilinear case with side and back splashboards. The front with double paneled doors opening to reveal shelving surmounted by two drawers. The case made of popular but painted by an unknown Mennonite artist workign probably in the northern tier of Lancaster County. MEASUREMENT: 42" wide x 15-1/2" deep x 49-3/4" high.
