From the collection of Mr. Liu Shangqing.Liu Shangqing (1868-1946). styled Haiquan. was born in 1868 (the seventh year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty) in today's Liaoning Province (former Fengtian Province). He used to be the general office of the Official Bank of the three Eastern Provinces. president of Northeastern University. Superintendent of the Middle East Road. Governor of Fengtian. member of the Northeast Political Affairs Committee. Minister of the Interior. member of the National Government. member of the Central Political Conference. chairman of Anhui Province. and vice president of the Supervision Yuan. In December 1941. Liu Shangqing was appointed as the vice president of the National Government Supervision Yuan. and at the same time. he was removed from the national government committee. In 1943. he was re-elected as a member of the National Government and still served as vice president of the Board of Supervisors. In January 1944. he was awarded the Order of the King's Star. First Class. He was awarded the Order of Victory in October 1992. At the end of the Anti-Japanese War. Liu Shangqing suffered from throat cancer. and his son Zhixiang went to the United States for medical treatment. At the same time. we brought a large number of collections stored in Muktian Commercial Bank to the United States. These collections have been collected by Liu Shangqing's descendants until now. and some of the porcelain still retains the label of Muktian Commercial Bank.
