STAFFORDSHIRE BRITISH MOTIF TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATES, LOT OF SEVEN, comprising "FAULKBOURN HALL", "Fountains Abbey", "CAVE CASTLE / YORKSHIRE", two having "GUYS CLIFF / WARWICKSHIRE", and two soup plates including "HOLLYWELL COTTAGE / CAVAN. / RILEY", as printed to underside, and one featuring scene from Tams' The Floral City Series. In addition to pattern names, marks to underside include printed "TAMS ANDERSON & TAMS / Warranted / STAFFORDSHIRE" and impressed crown with "A. STEVENSON WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE", "CLEWS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE", "RILEY", and "ENOCH WOOD & SONS / BURSLEM". John & Richard Riley, Burslem; Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem; Andrew Stevenson, Cobridge; Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, England. Circa 1825. 8 3/8" to 10 1/8" D.
