Description
STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC CUP AND SAUCER SETS, LOT OF SIX, each having dark blue transfer, including one depicting Two Girls and Butterfly in a garden, one Italian Scenery example depicting figures in boat in foreground, one having Basket Reserve pattern, one featuring pagodas and large flowers, one depicting Fishermen and Castle, and one with Barlborough Hall, Derbyshire. Marks to underside include impressed star, "STUBBS & KENT / LONGPORT", and various printed numerals. Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem; Stubbs & Kent, Longport, England; and others. 2 5/8" HOA.

Condition
Eight undamaged; Italian Scenery saucer having rim with hairline and some minor flakes; girls/butterfly saucer having a minute rim flake; Barlborough Hall cup with chip to foot and saucer with two minor rim flakes. Manufacturing flaws including some having stilt mark flakes, as made.
