ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU AND OTHER GILT-BRASS AND METAL BELT OR DRESS BUCKLES, LOT OF NINE, each two-part form featuring Art Nouveau and other designs, comprising nine having gilt-brass or gilt-metal frames including four buckles having butterfly form, and one buckle with a faint gold-toned color presented on a silk belt/sash. Unmarked. Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century. Largest butterfly-shaped buckle 2 7/8" x 2 1/2" OA.

Condition
Most in very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including worn spots/losses to gilt finishes, one or a few spots of oxidation, slight bending, and/or possibly one or a few repairs; one butterfly-shaped buckle with beaded center having glue repair to terminals of one bar on back; simple embossed-designed buckle lacking one bar; buckle on belt/sash having worn spots and losses to silk on mostly the flowers.
