Chinese Ming Dynasty LongQing Wucai Porcelain Lidded Round Box. The porcelain box is in a circular form bowl similar, correspondence dome flat lid with open carved and there is a tongue at the outer rims for fitting the lid, raised on short round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against wucai design color, depicted of abundant flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines. Made in The Years LongQing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
