mark of Robert Sawers, Edinburgh (1928), with attractive engine turned engraving to body and cover overlaid with hand-engraved foliate and floral decoration, double handles, no monogram.

A quaich is a traditional Scottish drinking vessel for whisky or brandy. The name derives from the Gaelic word for cup, cuach.
