A Japanese Imari-style porcelain dessert plate. Presumably late Meiji era, before 1912. White plate with hand-painted cobalt blue and red floral decor, iris flowers and dragonflies. The backside is garnished with a grape bunch motif. Figurative rims. Unmarked. Imari ware is a Western term for a brightly-coloured style of Japanese export porcelain from the Arita region in the 17-18th centuries. Collectible Asian Oriental Tableware And Serveware.
