Description

Elegant mid-century vase decorated with dimensional images of thistles, by artist, designer, sculptor and studio potter, Richard A. Dobrowski (1912 - 2015). New Hampshire - New England artist.

White bisque porcelain with a cobalt blue glazed interior. Signed and dated, by hand, incised into the bottom.

Height - 7” (18 cm)

CONDITION : Excellent condition with no damage or repairs.

NOTES / REFERENCES : Richard Adam Dabrowski was born in 1912 in New York City and studied at the National Academy of Design. Dabrowski's work, included ceramics, engravings, relief sculpture and ceramics. Richard Dabrowski died in Maine in 2015 at the age of 103.
