A Chinese black gauze lady's robe with embroidered collar and sleeves, late Qing dynasty, the black ground woven with large dragon roundels, lined with floral ribbons and wide blue silk bands embroidered with charming flowers, birds, insects, and butterflies, the band on either side trimmed as a ruyi head, the wide sleeves stitched with pale turquoise blue bands decorated with figure and gardens (minor discoloration on collar band, yellowish staining along folded areas of both sleeve bands), 36.75" long.
