This plan view shows the grounds of the British Empire Exhibition held in Wembley Park, London, from May 9 to October 31, 1925. It mixes black & white photographs into the illustrated plan, giving the map a unique texture. A key locates restaurants, administrative offices, lavatories, and kiosks, with three tables at left that identify photos, restaurants, and additional places of refreshment. The map is surrounded with a border comprised of photographs. The Empire Stadium (later Wembley Stadium) is prominently pictured. Imprint of J.C. Betts at bottom right. Photography by Campbell Gray.
