During his junior year of high school, Mark Hamill and his family would relocate to Yokohama, Japan as his father was stationed there as a U.S. Navy Captain. This yearbook reflects Hamill's senior year at the school, the graduating class of 1969.

On Mark Hamill's senior portrait page, his biography reads, "MARK RICHARD HAMILL/ "Ham"/ Oakland, California/ Student Council Representative 1; All School Play 2, 3, 4; Spring Musical 2; Homecoming Committee 2, 3; Contest Play 3; Student Body President 4; Pumpkin Rally 4; Powderpuff Cheerleader 4."

Mark Hamill has signed the yearbook in multiple places including on page 171 he writes, "Glen/ Didn't know you/ too well this except/ when I saw you on/ the football bus, / but that's the way/ it goes! / Hope everything/ goes right for you in/ the future. / see you, (maybe)/ best to you, / Mark," and on the "Senior Supers" page, Mark signs his name in blue ink. Additionally, on the "Senior Favorites" page, Mark signs his name in blue ink.
