Description

Possibly Bolivian, Peruvian or a Native American Hudsons Bay trade item. 19th Century. Depicting the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary above the Angels. Silver with a gold wash front and back. Repousse - hammered central design. Stamped with feathers and other circular designs. Stamped with makers mark PG and 800 (silver content).

Height - 3” (7.5 cm)

Width - 2 1/8" (5.5 cm)

Weight - 24 grams

CONDITION: Good condition with silver showing through the gold wash in some of the raised areas. Old patina.
