(1) March 4th, 1863 Ohio "Squirrel Hunters Resolution". This resolution was passed by the Ohio Legislature and signed by the Governor David Tod. Visible portion of document measures 8 1/2" X 10 3/8". Frame measures 14 5/8" X 15 1/8". (1) Governor of The State of Ohio, Second Lieutenant appointment for Warren Mills of the 32 Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry on the 13th of January 1863. Signed lower right by Gov. David Tod. Visible portion of document measures approx. 9" X 11 1/4". Frame measures 13 1/2" X 15 3/4". Larry Mangus Collection, Corinth, Mississippi. Condition- The Squirrel Hunters Resolution document is in overall good condition with some stains and light toning. The appointment document has heavy toning, water damage and tear to left corner, and stains. See photos.
