Description
10 Chinese 17th, 18th and 19th Century Export Porcelains: a group circa 1700 decorated in underglaze blue, iron red and gold with 3 plates, a small gourd shaped Teapot and a 1 handled Mustard pot with a flared foot; together with a pair of low bowls in underglaze blue Fitzhugh Pattern, a pair of Garden Pavilion low bowls with gold rims and a single low bowl with a more elaborate Garden Pavilion design. Diameter of large plates 9 inches (22.8 cm.). Width of Teapot from handle to spout 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm.).
Condition
Light age related wear to iron red and gilding; the 3 plates with a few small flakes to edges, some with infill; the teapot with a small hairline to bottom of handle, 2 small flakes to tip of spout and the cover repaired with old over-painting; the mustard pot cover repaired with old over-painting; some of the low bowls with1 or 2 short hairlines and a few tiny flakes to mouth edge.
