This poster is unique among the Russian agitation posters. It is basically a conceptual project of an interactive installation. Instructions are placed by the artist on the right bottom corner: The shelf should be attached to it, on which the defective products of the bad worker or a photo of this product should be laid out, and a little higher there is also a frame for a photograph of the responsible factory director indicating his or her name.
It’s even mentioned that the shelf must be painted in black color. The place for the shelf is visible on the poster in the character’s hands. “Stick the poster on the wall, on plywood or on special shield."
The only copy of this poster we could find in institutional collections is in the collection of the Lenin Museum in Moscow, which was closed in 2005.Additional shipping charges may apply

Rare Russian poster headed "????- ??????? ?????????? ?????" [Defective product is the gift to the class enemy]. The release of such agitation posters stemmed from the hundreds of millions of rubles annually lost to the economy of the USSR in the early 1930s due to the release of low-quality and defective products. In 1933 the government adopted laws that punished the directors of factories produced defective products. The two agitation poems for this poster were written by Demyan Bedny, the famous Soviet poet, propagandist, and satirist. Nikolay Korshunov created the poster. He was Soviet painter, graphic, and poster artist.
