An important set of four volumes, originally issued separately, of fine engravings and instructional texts in the art of drawing. Johann Daniel Preissler's texts and plates were widely circulated and copied through the 18th century as a model for art instruction. Also bound in is a work on human proportions from birth through maturity with 12 plates by Johann Georg Bergmu?ller.

Condition
